Jeannie Marie McElhaney, age 58, passed away on Jan. 30, 2019, surrounded by family members. She passed from complications of a broken heart after the death of her youngest daughter. Jean’s heart and home were always open to everyone.
She had three children of her own, but their friends were also like children who felt loved by her. Jean liked to do beadwork and tend to her garden and flowers during the summer months. Her pride and joy were her children, Sarah, Mathew and Leilani; and her grandchildren, Nico, Devon, Leeland, Blake and Malachi. Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Leilani Murrill; dad, Howard Graham; mother, Martha Phillips; brothers, Alvin Phillips, Donald Graham and Robert Graham; and sister, Pauline Herndon. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gordon McElhaney; daughter, Sarah Williams; son, Mathew Williams; sister, Susan Masolini; brothers, John Graham and David Phillips; as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
