Jeannette Wilcock was born in Sutton Manor, St. Helens, England on October 5, 1918. She lived in CT from 1970 to 1986 when she moved to Florida with her husband and family, and in 2007 spent three months in England.. Jeannette moved from DeLand, FL to Waterbury, CT toward the end of 2008. She died at Waterbury Hospital on December 15, 2009.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Fredie Winstanley of Waterbury, CT, and her son, Alan Wilcock (whereabouts unknown), her granddaughter, Heidi Jean Middelmann of Woodbury, and her grandson, Geoffrey Gerd Middelmann of Arkansas, her great-granddaughter, Ashley Courtland Middlemann of Woodbury, and her niece, Margaret (Peg) Farrar, of St. Helens, England. Her ex-son-in-law, Gerd Middelmann also of Arkansas.
Just before she died, she was working on a dog coat-all she had left to do was to knit the rib and finish off around the paw holes. In the end, she had become very tired and fatigued and couldn’t concentrate long enough to complete it. Fredie says she will try to finish it for her.
