Jeannette H. Vieira, age 71, of Milford, entered into eternal peace on September 3, 2007, after a brief illness at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. The daughter of the late Yvonne Daunais and George Roy, she was born on October 4, 1935 in Tamischam, Canada. She was a longtime resident of Bridgeport, CT until settling in Milford in 1971. Before retiring in 2002, she was employed as a bookkeeper for R & S Electric in Stratford. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors included her son, Lawrence R. Vieira of Milford, her sister, Claire Cressia of Fairfield and several brothers, Roger Roy of Wilmington, Delaware, George Roy of Hartford and Andrew Roy of Canada as well as nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Mrs. Vieira was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Ralph Roy and her beloved poodle, BoBo. She also leaves behind, Gizmo, family cat, to whom was of great company to her. She was a very dedicated mother. Mrs. Vieira was an avid animal lover, sought enjoyment from being near the ocean, the Milford Duck Pond and watching classic movies mostly musicals from the 1940’s to 1950’s. She was a big fan of the singer, Eddie Fisher.
