Jeanne (Pelletier) (Belanger) Carrier, 89, of Newington, beloved wife for 39 years of Raoul “Ray” Carrier, passed away on Oct. 28, 2015 in her home with her husband and family at her side. When Jeanne was not caring for her family, she enjoyed, in her spare time, cooking, cleaning, tending to her garden of which she took great pride in, finding ingenious ways of fixing things with masking tape, and hosting parties for her friends and family. She and her husband, Ray, loved taking trips to the local casinos, especially Foxwoods, and every year they enjoyed a couple of weeks in beautiful Aruba! When the family all got together Jeanne was always found playing the card game Charlemagne while sipping her “CC and Soda”. Jeanne loved her family and enjoyed spending time with every member, whether it was at a party or just sitting and talking while watching TV. Along with her husband Ray, Jeanne is survived by her daughter Janice (Belanger) Peluso and her boyfriend Michael Skelskey, of Watertown; her son Jerry Belanger and his wife Martha (Belfiore), of Southington; her granddaughters Maegan Belanger and her boyfriend Steve Ozerhoski, of Watertown and Jocelyn Belanger and her fiancé Christian Pellegrino, of Ansonia; her brothers John, Paul, Phydime, and Lucien Pelletier; her sisters Evelyn Lafreniere, Marianne Palaia, Theresa Solomita, Nilda Martin, and Madeline Pelletier; her step-daughters Deborah (Carrier)Fedorich and her husband Robert, of Bristol, and Andrea (Carrier) Dziola and her husband Edward, of TX; her step-son Stephen Carrier and his wife Rita, of Naugatuck; her step-grandchildren Bill Reyor, III, David Garutti, Amber Carrier, Daniel Dziola and Sam Dziola and her step-great-grandchildren Connor Carrier and Mila Carrier.
