Jeanne P. Knutsen, passed away peacefully at age 85 on April 9, 2015. Jeanne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend. She was sweet and kind and always brought out the best in everyone around her. She is survived by her loving husband, David of 58 years, and her three children, James and his wife Irene of Encinitas, CA, her son Jeff of Scottsdale, AZ and daughter, Pam and her husband Victor of Atlanta, GA. She also has five grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Jeffrey, Courtney and Stephanie. In addition, she has a nephew Tim who lives in Florida, and a niece Tiane living in Georgia. Jeanne was the eldest of two sisters born in Logansport, Indiana and lived in Peru, Indiana where she graduated from Peru High School, attended Indiana University and worked at Western Union until 1957 when she met her husband, David who was a Pilot in the USAF. She lived in Chicago, Illinois while her husband David worked as a Pilot for American Airlines. After having her first son, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where they had their second son and daughter. In April of 1966 they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where all their children were raised. During those years, Jeanne also worked as the Office Manager at her son’s Chiropractic Practice in addition to volunteering her time as an Auxiliary Member of Scottsdale Memorial Hospital.
