Jeanne Marie Grider, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Born Jeanne Marie Knowles on April 16, 1920 to Maurice Eugene and Lillian Good Knowles in Des Moines, Iowa. Jeanne was active as a volunteer at the Boerne Public Library, a member of Friends of the Boerne Public Library, Kendall County Republican Women, Boerne Literary Society, Boerne Community Theater and her Stitchery Group. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Madison Lee Grider and son Lewis Ellis Grider, Jeanne is survived by sons, Dick Sheridan of San Francisco, CA., Art Grider and his wife Carmen of Houston, TX.; half-brothers, Tony Woods of Los Altos, CA. and James Woods of Eugene, OR.; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
