Jeanne married Francis “Lee” Morgan on December 6, 1969, at First Baptist Church. They were blessed with 48 years marriage.
She was a loving and caring person, who was always there for anyone who needed her. Family and friends meant everything to her. Jeanne could be found at all of her children’s and grandchildren’s activities. She cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jeanne enjoyed making stained-glass items and was a great shot with a 22. She was a wonderful cook. Jeanne enjoyed reading Paula Deen cookbooks and trying many of the recipes. One of her favorite excursions was a trip that the couple took to Savannah, Georgia where they visited Paula’s restaurant and met Paula’s sons. Jeanne was known for her famous baked beans, which were a must at family events. Christmas Eve at mom and dad’s will not be the same without her. She is loved and will be deeply missed.
