Jeanne Marie Delaney, age 84, longtime resident of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Milford Hospital. She was born on May 15, 1927 in Marlboro, MA, the daughter of the late Alice and William Farrell Pomphrey. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, friends and associates. Jeanne was a Realtor in the city of Milford for many years and was highly thought of by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her daughter and grandson, Trisha and Brian Fike with whom she resided. Also her daughter Nancy Ingraham and her husband Bruce of Gloucester, MA, her son, John Walsh of Rye, NH, her granddaughter Elizabeth Shrewsbury and her husband Mark of Lynnfield, MA and grandson, Dr. Chris Ingraham of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her great granddaughters, Isabella and Katie Shrewsbury. She leaves two sisters, Marjorie Pond of Berlin, MA and Mary Ellen Peloquin of Lancaster, MA, a brother William Pomphrey of Marlboro, MA and her many loving nieces and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her brothers, S/SGT John Pomphrey, USAF, Thomas Pomphrey and a sister, Barbara Pomphrey .
