Jeanne Krieger passed away Friday, September 12, in the company of family and friends. Jeanne was born in Montclair New Jersey on July 27, 1930, to Eugene and Elsie Meder. She grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. She married Frank Krieger in 1951 and they lived in West Milford New Jersey for many years. Jeanne worked in the banking profession for 33 years. She began as a teller with Orange Savings Bank and retired as a vice president and branch manager at Hudson City Savings. During her career she was also very involved as a volunteer with the North Jersey Training School, a facility for community members with special needs. Jeanne retired in 1993 and moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida shortly thereafter.
