Jeanne Keiser Edmondson
November 9, 1946- January 13, 2021
On January 13, 2021, Jeanne Keiser Edmondson, loving wife and mother was
called home, at the age of 74.
Jeanne was born on November 9, 1946 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to William
and Mary (Magee) Keiser. In 1970, Mrs. Edmondson earned her NJ Teacher of the
Handicapped certificate and began teaching. In 1988, she earned her Masters of
Art in Teaching from Jersey City State College. Mrs. Edmondson, a graduate of
Edison High School, began her teaching career in Edison, NJ, but spent most of her
career as a special education teacher in the Sayreville, New Jersey Public School
District.
On April 1, 1967, Jeanne married her best friend and love of her life, Frank
Edmondson. Together they had a daughter Laura (of New Jersey) and a son Scott
(of Tennessee.)
Jeanne loved to sing anywhere and everywhere. She was a member of
several choral groups over the years, including Wilson College, her churches and
locally at MTSU. Jeanne and Frank were active members of the First Presbyterian
Church of Sayreville, NJ until they moved to Murfreesboro, TN in 1992. At that
time, they became members of Northminster Presbyterian Church in
Murfreesboro. Jeanne spent much of her time reading, gardening, sewing and
doing needlepoint, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Jeanne was predeceased by her mother Mary, and father William and her
siblings, Bill/Paula Keiser and Marianne Keiser Thompson. She is survived by her
husband Frank, their son Scott, and daughter Laura (Daniel) Pearson of New Jersey.
She had two grandchildren, Trevor and Jordyn Lott and three bonus grandchildren,
Jonathan, Sara and Lucy Pearson. Jeanne is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joan
(Nick) Signorelli and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Edmondson chose to be cremated.
