Jeanne I. (Busch) Faherty, age 87, of White Horse Beach, formerly of Brockton and West Roxbury, died Friday, August 17, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She was the devoted wife of the late Gerald (Jerry) F. Faherty. Loving mother of Brian Faherty and his wife Carol of Hyde Park, Diane Garofalo and her husband Chris of Old Greenwich CT, Jeanne Armocida and her husband Bill of Concord, Jerry Faherty Jr. and his wife Sue of Westborough, Tom Faherty and his wife Stephanie of Buzzards Bay, and Mark Faherty and his wife Emily of Harwich. Jeanne is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Virginia McNeil, and Constance Casey. Born in Boston MA on February 25, 1931, daughter of the late Winfred C. and Mildred (LaPlante) Busch. She graduated from Roslindale High School, and following raising a family, served as the Secretary for the Brockton Education Association for 36 years. Jeanne was a Eucharistic minister and member of the Parish Council for St. Edith Stein Catholic Church (formerly St. Edwards). She enjoyed performing with the Jimmy Collins School if Dance for many years. Jeanne also loved playing ping pong and Chinese checkers- and she nearly always won.
