Mary Jeanne (Ferrero) Buysee passed away September 1, 2022, in her sleep, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
Jeanne was born to Joe and Elsie Ferrero (deceased) on August 23, 1941, in Peoria and raised in Roanoke, IL. She is survived by her husband, of almost 58 years, Ron Buysee, who she married on October 24, 1964, and who she enjoyed dancing with for many hours at the Poison Apple. They have two surviving children; son, Joe (Joan) Buysee of Washington and daughter, Jenny Buysee Schisler of Peoria. She is also survived by two grandchildren; grandson, Seth (Haley) Schisler of Thornton, Colorado and granddaughter, Samantha Buysee of Oak Forest; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Steven Ferrero.
Jeanne worked for American Family Insurance as an agent for 32 years. She was an avid golfer, who enjoyed being on the golf course. She had a hole in one at Arrowhead Country Club, where she was a member for 14 and a half years.
Jeanne had a lifetime of accomplishments. She graduated with honors from Sangamon State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Management.
