Jeanne A. Hoffman Widener, 81, Venice, died April 5, 2007 at Sunset Lake Health & Rehab-Venice, Florida after an extended illness. She was born February 20, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, and resided in Venice, Florida.
She lived in Madison County most of her life, moving to Florida 3 1/2 years ago. She retired as a machine operator for Excello Corporation and was a homemaker.
Jeanne graduated from Pendleton High School. She was a member of the Madison County Voiture #510 40 & 8 and the American Legion.
She is survived by her children: Beverly & husband Lucky Dennis of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky, Jon & wife Linda Widener of Pendleton, Jeff & wife Mary Widener, Le Ann Widener, Veronica Brown of Venice, Florida and Leland Brown of Venice. Nephew: Victor & wife Karen Brown of Tipton. Niece: Charlyn & husband Tom Stacey of Tipton. Three great nieces. Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law: Junior & Joanne Widener. Nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are several special friends including, Sissy and T.J.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert G. Widener who pased away November 2, 2006 and her parents, Virgil & Helen Zeller Hoffman.
