Jeanette Rose( McWhortor) Dost, 65, of Stratford, died Monday November 2, 2015, at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center.
Jeanette was born August 22, 1950, in Corvallis, Oregon to Loren Earl McWhortor and Alma(King) McWhortor. When Jeanette was 3 her father died. Jeanette was raised by her step father and mother in the Harrisburg area until the age of 13, when her step father moved the family to Montezuma, Iowa.
Jeanette was married and the couple had had two children, Bonita and Frederick.
Jeanette was a Certified Nurses Aide and worked at the Stratford Nursing Home for many years.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents Loren and Alma McWhortor.
Jeanette is survived by her children Freddy and Bonita and her siblings Cliff McWhortori, Sharon Howell and Connie Panborn , a host of friends, especially Peggy Lowary and Gina Spohnheima and the many good people at Stratford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
