Mrs. Jeanette Liles Rorie, 95, of 610 East Fairfield Rd. died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Hospice Home at High Point following an extended illness. Jeanette was born on March 25, 1919 in Anson County to Nellie Bittle Liles and Perlie Liles. Coming from Lilesville, she had been a resident of Trinity for most of her adult life. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Trinity where she was a former member of the Gospel Choir. She was a Deaconess and Church Mother as well as Secretary of the Missionary Circle. In addition to her parents, her husband, Ardell Rorie and five children preceded her in death. Surviving relatives include two sons, Jeremiah Rorie, Sr. of the home, and Arvell Rorie (Brenda) of Candor, N.C.; two daughters, Nettie Lucas (John) of High Point, and Lucy Rorie of the home; a host of other relatives and friends.
