Jeanette L. Eckert, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. Lukes University Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Richard F. Eckert, who died in 1998. Born in Freemansburg, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Gladys (Bartholomew) Martin. She worked for Sure Fit for 25 years, and then worked at Moravian College in the dining hall. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors: Children Richard A. Schlicher and his wife Amanda of Allentown, Christina Krasnai and her husband Joe of Bethlehem, Rita Eckert of Gettysburg; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
