Jeanette C. Brown, age 87 of Silver Ridge Park North died Friday June 22nd, 2012 at Community Medical Center Van Dyke Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, NY Jeanette lived in Ozone Park, NY before moving to Silver Ridge Park North in 1988. Jeanette was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Berkeley Twp. In the 1940’s Jeanette was a member of the National Security Women’s Corp.
She was a member of the Silver Ridge Park North Women’s Club and the Silver Ridge Park North-Westerly First Aid Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing mahjong and cards with her friends. Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband Hiram F. Brown in 2001 and her sister Gloria Raber in 2008. Jeanette is survived by her daughter Ellen Kent and her husband Richard, three sons, Douglas Brown, Kenneth Brown and his wife Susan and Richard Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren Krista and Kevin Kent and Kaitlin and Alexandria Brown.
