Jeanette had the sweetest personality She had a smile and kind words for everyone. She loved her family deeply and being a grandma was one of her greatest blessings. After World War II she met the love of her life Calvin Bowman (deceased) just out of the Army while working at KVP. They were married six months later on July 18, 1946. Jeanette loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She and Calvin had many fond memories of camping with the grandchildren on Lake Michigan. While living in Kalamazoo, she attended Calvary Bible Church with a special friend, MaryAnne Ampersee.

She deeply loved all of the old hymns.
