Jeane A. Nemergut, age 87 of Stratford, passed away peacefully Monday, November 13, 2017. Born in Stratford, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Creevy Nemergut, she had been a lifelong town resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School and had worked for over 40 years for the United Illuminating Company. A devout Roman Catholic, she always looked forward to attending Mass at her parish, St. Mark in Stratford.
