Jean Wray Yearwood Ogletree, age 84, a lifelong resident of Union Point, GA passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.  Born in Union Point, GA on April 17, 1934, she was one of five daughters born to the late John Francis Wray and Eula Mae Bodiford Wray.  As a child she grew up in Union Point where she attended Union Point High School.  After high school she worked for Lena-Hy Garment Company as a seamstress and later at Hometown Manufacturing as a supervisor.  She married Robert Frank Yearwood, the father of her children and after his death she married Calvin Ogletree. Jean was of the Baptist faith.  She was a dog lover and enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes.

Jean is survived by daughters, Vonnie Atkinson (Ralph) of Florence, SC, and Lynn Webb (Mitch Mitchell) of Eatonton, GA; sons, Ronnie Yearwood (Charlotte) of Union Point, GA,  Johnny Yearwood (Mary Agnes) of Greensboro, GA, and David Yearwood (Suzette) of Union Point, GA; son-in-law, Ronnie Anderson; sisters, Carol Young (John), Martha Cronic (William) and Betty Durham (M.C.); twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren with three on the way; a number of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Frank Yearwood and Calvin Ogletree; daughter, Cathy Anderson; and sister, Dorothy Dalman.
