Jean Wilson Bischoff (DOB June 14, 1930) completed her journey in mortality March 23, 2022 at 10:39pm. She spent the waning hours of her life surrounded by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is a beloved mother whose influence for good on multiple generations is immeasurable. She was married to Joel Richard Bischoff (died July 20, 1989) on October 23, 1951 in the Logan Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together they have 7 children, 28 grandchildren, and 55 great grandchildren. She loved scrapbooking to preserve cherished memories, ceramics, and other creative arts. An accomplished genealogist, she served in the Family History Libraries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 25 years, including dedicated missionary service in family history for the Church in San Diego, CA. She served for 20 years as an ordinance worker in the Ogden, UT Temple of the Church, and as a docent for the Church’s Conference Center in Salt Lake City, UT. She received an Associate’s Degree in Spanish from Weber Academy, and briefly worked as a secretary before getting married and having children, after which she was proud to be a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially basketball. She enjoyed music throughout her life, encouraging the development of musical talents in her children. She enjoyed travel, and visited multiple national parks and cultural and historic sites in the U.S.A. She traveled internationally to Canada, Egypt, England, Israel, and Mexico, cherishing the mementos and photos she brought from those places.
