Jean Smith, nee Sekiguchi, age 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Beloved wife of the late Barron Smith. Loving mother of Arnette (Michael) Bosch, Jolene (Joe Gasiorek) Smith, and the late Nadine (Andrew Webb) Smith. Proud grandmother of Lee (Donna) Morris and Steven (Jennifer) Kuchar and great-grandmother of Ashley, Jeremiah, Jaylyn, and Karyssa. Dear sister of Nao Wenkam and Nobu Asaki.
Preceded in death by her parents Shozo and Haruyo (nee Tanishita) Sekiguchi and two brothers Kenichiro Sekiguchi and Tadashi Sekiguchi Mrs. Smith was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), the Go Go Travel Club, and Checkerboard Entertainment Group.
She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
