Jean Seay LeGrand, 91, of Colonial Heights, passed away on August 6, 2024, at Southside Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1932, in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Claude L. and Rachel A. Mann Seay, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert C. Seay. After many years of dedicated service at Safeway Stores and later at Sears Department Stores, she retired with a legacy of hard work and commitment. Jean’s retirement was spent enjoying her time with family and friends, finding joy in simple pleasures and staying connected with those she loved. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas LeGrand (Linda), Dexter LeGrand (Martha), two daughters, Deborah LeGrand (Victoria) and Cathy Mayes (James), four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
