Jean Cavaliere Scialabba, 96, of Hamden passed away peacefully on Nov. 11, 2013. She was the wife of the late Joseph Scialabba (Ret. Sergeant, NHPD). Born in New Haven on Oct. 23, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Santina “Susie” Cavaliere. She is survived by two daughters, Madeline (Arthur) Cesare of Las Vegas, NV and Sandra (Robert) D’Andrea of Hamden; four grandchildren, Michele Card, Robert D’Andrea Jr., Marc and Chris Cesare; 13 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; and her loving sister, Ann Polio. She was predeceased by a sister, Maria Norbito and a brother, Vincent T. Cavaliere. Her family would like to thank the staff at Hamden Health Care Center for the care and compassion shown to Jean over the last three years., 424 Elm St. (cor.
