Regina (Jean) Roman Kazmercyk, age 86, of Milford, died Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Soundview Health Care Center, West Haven. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Kazmercyk. Daughter of the late Walter and Regina Roman, she was born October 15, 1921, in Oneonta, NY, and was a resident of Milford since 1956. Mrs. Kazmercyk was a longtime employee of Alexander’s Department Store, Milford, and Sears & Roebuck, Orange. Beloved mother of Joan Pilvelait and Joseph Kazmercyk, both of Milford, and Judith Calandrella of West Haven. Sister of Rosalie Goobic of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Cecelia Prizzi of Avoca, PA, Joseph Roman of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Walter Roman of Altamont Springs, FL. Grandmother of Frederick Doyle of FL, Judith Drapp of Milford. Tracy Murphy of Oxford, James Monterose and Michael Doyle, both of Milford. Great-grandmother of Robert and Edward Drapp and Brian, Kevin, and Collin Murphy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Peter, Frank and John Roman.
