Jean M. Penman, 105, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday April 11, 2013 at 11:55 AM in Meadows Manor North Nursing Center. She was born September 19, 1907 in Lesmahagow, Scotland to Christopher Wright, Sr. and Elizabeth (Burnside) Wright. Jean was wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who faithfully maintained correspondence with her family in Scotland until she was past her 100th birthday. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Betty Tuttle Cox of Terre Haute; a grandson, Jeffrey Tuttle of Terre Haute; step grandchildren, Jeffrey Cox of Florida and Deborah Cox of Florida; step-great grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, and David Cox all of Florida; a first cousin, Jean Burnside Clarkson of Dearborn, MI and several other cousins in the Dearborn and Trenton, MI area.
