Mrs. Jean McQueen Morstadt, age 90 of Beulah passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. Mrs. Morstadt and her husband lived each year traveling from Beulah to Marianna, Florida where she loved to make candy in her store, The Homestead Sugar House. She also helped her husband manage their 300 acre tree farm at their home on Homestead Road. During WWII, she was the first lady hired with Santa Fe Railroad where she was Credit Manager. Jean was affectionately known as the “Sugar Lady”.
