Jean “Gina” Milaicki, 94 of Peru, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Manor Court of Peru. Mrs. Milaicki was born April 20, 1916 in Mark, IL, to Vincent and Mary (Silvestrini) Belei. She married Anton J. Milaicki on December 26, 1945 at Sacred Heart Church in Granville. He passed away April 30, 1989. They owned Tony’s Tap in Peru and LaSalle for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Valentine’s Church, LaSalle Elks, the Alter and Rosary Society and she was a senior bowler for several years.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Ron) Karun of Peru, grandson, Commander Ronald (Rebecca) Karun, Jr. of Port Matilda, PA; great grandson, John Anthony Karun; a brother, Anton “Tony” Belei of Portage, IN and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Anton and sister Angeline Martis.
