Jean M. Foote, 88, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away August 3, 2016. She was born September 12, 1927 in Frankfort, Indiana to Lester J. Meyers and Della Codding Meyers. Jean was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Marine Corp Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and loved watching her daughters and granddaughter show horses. She absolutely enjoyed and loved her great-granddaughter, Sophia, and Sophie adored her ” Ma-Ma”. She and Big Jim loved traveling all over the United States in their RV’s and they especially loved their times in Gulf Shores, AL.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Foote “Big Jim”, her parents, and her siblings. August 2, 2016 would have been her 67th wedding anniversary with ” Big Jim”. She is survived by her daughters Jayne Foote and Jessie Foote-Samuels; granddaughter Megan, Angel, her husband Josh Angel, and great grandchildren, Joshua and Sophia Angel.
