Mrs. Jean M. (MacCallum) Hellyar, 75, of North George’s Hill Rd., passed away at home Tuesday October 31st. She was born March 11, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, New York daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Beach) MacCallum. She grew up in Pelham Manor, NY graduated from Pelham High School and received her degree in fine arts from Skidmore College in upstate New York.
Mrs. Hellyar had resided in Southbury since 1972. She enjoyed a successful business in Interior Design and was actively involved in the American Society of Interior Design where she held several offices.
