Jean M. Deutch, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Kirkland Village. She was the wife of the late Bernard Deutch, who died in 1988.

Born in Bethlehem, Jean was the daughter of the late Abraham and Tillie (Badchan) Mindlin. She graduated from Bethlehem High School, and then became the office manager for her husband’s painting business. In her retirement years, she enjoyed going shopping and to the casinos, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family. She was an active member of Congregation Brith Sholom.

Survivors: children Jeffrey Deutch and his wife Suzanne of Boca Raton, FL, Stanley Deutch and his wife Victoria of Indialantic, FL, Ed Deutch and his wife Goldie of Philadelphia; Elaine Deutch and her husband Larry Lang of Bethlehem, Ted Deutch and his wife Jill of Boca Raton, FL; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceased by her siblings Morris Mindlin, Isadore Mindlin, Helen Levine and Harold Mindlin.
