Jean Louise (Perrot) Bernardini, 93, of Naplate, died on Saturday morning, September 22, 2018 at the Ottawa Pavilion. Jean was born on December 25, 1924 in Ottawa to Edward and Alma (Newberg) Perrot. She married Venansio “Vince” Bernardini on February 2, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church in Naplate.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church Altar and Rosary Society, St. Mary’s Angel Squad, and also volunteered at the church’s rummage sales and dinners. She was a current member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa. Jean will be fondly remembered for the love and support she offered her family. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, passing on family heritage, traditions, and recipes to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 sons Vince (Vickie) Bernardini, of Ottawa, Mario (Debbie) Bernardini, of Peru, and David (Joline) Bernardini, of Westminster, CO; 7 grandchildren, Nick Bernardini, Gretchen Bernardini, Shelby (Jakob) Cabala, Jayne Bernardini (John Falk), Joel Bernardini, Carly Bernardini, and Zach Bernardini; and 2 great granddaughters, Stella Cabala and Hannah Cabala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Venansio “Vince”, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters. Pallbearers will be Nick Bernardini, Joel Bernardini, Carly Bernardini, Zach Bernardini, Jakob Cabala and John Falk.
