Jean Lough Heagy, 95, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born August 13, 1923 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Roy W. and Artha Knight Lough.

Jean retired after twenty six years with the United States National Security Agency. She enjoyed traveling and had traveled to five different continents. She attended the North View United Methodist Church, Oak Mound Evangelical Church and Horizons.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Jean is survived by her sister-in-law, Juanita Lough, Salem, WV; nieces and nephews, Steven Davis and Patti, Ravenswood, Robert Lough and Melanie, Mt. Clare, Denise Linton and Paul, Manassas, VA, Janet Baierl and Bob, Lexington, SC, Robin Hersman, Clarksburg; great nephews, Jonathan Lough, Jared Lough, Paul Linton III, Alan Baierl, Paul Baierl, Jesse Davis, and Chase Gibson; great nieces, Jeanie Linton, Stephanie Majetich, Chrystie Saab, Kelli Weisenberger, Sharon Riles, Julie Stanfield, and Courtney Gibson; several great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Heagy whom she married August 18, 1968;   three sisters, Flora George, Una Lough, and Eula Davis; two brothers, Paul Lough and Roy Robert (Bob) Lough; one nephew, James E. Davis; and one great nephew, Rodney Baierl.
