Jeanne Westwood, 73, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, passed away June 29, 2009, at home after a short battle with cancer. She was born August 26, 1935 in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of the late Anselm and Leona Jalbert. Upon graduation from Lewiston High School she enlisted in the United States Air Force. She married Bernard Westwood in 1955 in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. After a long stint as a work at home mother, she worked for several years as a teacher’s aide at Spinning Hills Junior High School in the mid-70’s.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Pollitt and Karol Miller both of Dayton, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law Bernard and Susan Westwood of Marietta, GA; son John Westwood of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Brian Pollitt of Dayton, OH, Sarah and Jennifer Westwood of Marietta, GA.
