Jean L. Grover, 89 of Freeport died Tuesday April 6, 2010 at her home.
Born September18, 1920 in Canton, IL she was the daughter of Dewey and June (Donavan) Antrim. On August 4, 1940 she married William Grover in St. Joseph, MO. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Jean is survived by her husband of 70 years, William Grover of Freeport; One daughter, Jean (Samuel) Maggio of Rockford; son-in-law William Ackerman of Freeport; sister, Carol Antrim of Florence, CO; 5 grandchildren Jody (Juan) Licon, Samuel (Jenny) Maggio, Daniel (Angie) Ackerman, Kelly (Christopher) Herbig, Michael Ackerman; 6 great grandchildren Juan Licon, Austin Licon, Joshua Ackerman, Benjamin Ackerman, Christopher Herbig and Thomas Herbig. She is preceded in death by a daughter Judith Ackerman and twin sister June Kelly.
