Jean Crist Brown, 76, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Roxborough Memorial Hospital, Philadelphia.
Jean worked for the Triangle Shoe Company for 25 years and Wissahickon Creek Veterinarian Clinic for 24 years. She was a member of the Second Marine Division Auxiliary, American Legion Post #680, was President of the Dutch Helwig Ladies Auxiliary and loved animals.
Born April 30, 1933 in
Williamsport, she was the daughter of Harold M. and Evelyn Rote Crist.
Surviving are her sons, Norman Marquardt II, with whom she lived and Steven Marquardt of Trout Run and a sister, Fern Crist Seitzer of Williamsport and nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, William T. Brown, a brother, Carl E. Crist and a nephew, Frank R. Seitzer II.
