Jean Harlow (Maze) Jewell, 86, of Anderson, passed away on February 7, 2021, at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born on October 11, 1934, in Salt Lick, Kentucky, and resided most of her life in Anderson. Jean attended Bath County High School in Kentucky. She worked at Red Lobster in Anderson and then became a homemaker. Jean’s family was so important to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.

She is survived by her loving children, Cathy (Rick) Cole, Lisa (Tony) Price, Tammy Nivens, Larry (Alicia) Jewell, all of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Brandi (Todd) Cole Barhorst, Casey (Adam) Hinkle, Nathan (Maggie) Price, Scott Price, and Noah Nivens; and great-grandchildren, Nathalie, Maddie, Benjamin, Jaxon, Tessa, Greyson, and Eden. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Allen T. Jewell; infant son, Edward Allen Jewell; parents, Laban and Lena Pearl (Goldy) Maze; son-in-law, David Nivens; siblings, Lorine Maze, Labe Maze, Jr., Minnie Pearl Maze, Charles Maze, Margaret Steger; and nephews, Arthur (Cotton) Maze and Gregory McClurg.
