Troy-Jean Fuller Temple, 96, of Woodrow Court passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital following a brief illness.

Born at Samaritan Hospital, Troy on April 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frank Henry Fuller and Alice Bell Fuller, and wife of the late William J Temple Sr.

Jean attended Troy High School where she excelled in foreign language, literature, art, math and science, and was the recipient of numerous awards, graduating in advance of her Class of 1940.

Jean was an employee of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Freshman Dining Hall, as hostess and head clerk. Fluent in several languages, she very much enjoyed welcoming freshman students and their families, from across the United States and around the globe to RPI; assisting in any way to make their RPI experience enjoyable and memorable.
