Jean F. Cox, 86, passed away at 10:00 p.m. Tuesday at University Nursing Center.
She was born in Anderson, the daughter of the late Prentice and Eliza (Porter) Hutton. She graduated from Anderson High School with the class of 1945.
Jean married Clarence Cox on November 7, 1948. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1995.
Mrs. Cox was employed at RCA in Marion retiring in 1987 and was a member of the RCA sympathy club, was a judge at the voting poll in Upland for many years, and attended the Upland Senior Citizens Wednesday group.
Survivors include two daughters, JoEllen (Rodney) Pickett, Elk Grove, Illinois, and Judy Worrick, Upland; five grandchildren, Mark Worrick, Teri Turney, Jason Wood, Kara Jochum, and Ariel Pickett; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Wood, her twin brother, Jack Hutton, two sisters, Elizabeth Sample, Roberta Stansberry, and a sister-in-law, Jerry Hutton.
