Jean Ellen Corbit, 78, of Cassopolis, died peacefully, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Cass County Medical Care Facility, Cassopolis.
She was born March 6, 1936 in Cassopolis, Michigan to Walter and Ethel (Buckhold) Corbit. Jean was a graduate of the Women’s Army Corps School. She was active in the American Legion and was a recipient of their “We the People” award.
Family and friends will greatly miss jean. She is survived by two brothers and sisters in law, James and Jean Corbit of Dowagiac, Jack and Ida Corbit of Cassopolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
