Jean Ellen (Wells) Cole, 87, of Anderson, passed away on March 30, 2016. She was born on November 11, 1928, in Anderson, where she resided all of her life. Jean graduated from Anderson High School. She was an assembly line worker for General Motors, and retired after 30 years of service. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson. She liked flowers and working out in the garden, and she especially loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Jean is survived by her loving children, Richard (Cathy) Cole of Anderson, Debra D. Lloyd of Anderson, and Gary (Carolyn) Cole of Greenfield; grandchildren, Jeremy (Marlo) Lloyd, Jamie (Aaron) Filbrun, Brandi (Todd) Cole-Barhorst, Casey (Adam) Hinkle, Kelly (Everett) Ailes, and Katie Cole; and great-grandchildren, Tori, Emmi, Austin, Haley, and Landon. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Jackie Cole; parents, Emmeritt and Hallie (Dunn) Wells; brother, Emmeritt Wells, Jr.; sister, Betty Wells; and grandson, Kyle Filbrun.
