Jean D. Versaw, 65, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Monday night, August 12, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. Jean was born November 30, 1947 to Lillard “Leo” and Juanita (Shirley) Daniel.
Her family moved to Louisiana and settled in Illinois during her teen years due to her father’s occupation in the oil industry. Jean became a Registered Nurse in 1978, working most recently with dialysis patients. She moved to Indiana near Hudson Lake, then made her home in Three Oaks when she married Michael Versaw on March 22, 1985. Jean enjoyed gardening, adding to her rabbit collection, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her husband, Mike, son John Aurenz, grandchildren, Johnny and Lea, all of Three Oaks and sisters, Shirley (Lee) Pfingston of Palos Park, Illinois and Peggy (Joe) Pavone of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
