Jean Catherine Mosher, 85 of Milford, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Born in Bridgeport on July 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Kittie) McCarthy Obert. She was the beloved wife of her Bob, the late Robert “The Mosh” Mosher. Jean was a long time member of St.
Jean is survived by her two daughters, Roberta Jones Yegidis and her husband Jeff of Orange Ct., Claudia Mosher and her husband Jim Flynn of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, her three grandchildren, Michael Robert Jones of Orange. Ct and Key West, Florida and Katrina and Zachary Flynn of St. Johnsbury, Vermont; her dear cousins Flossie McCarthy and her son Jack McCarthy, Danny Goldeman and Gerry Ritz – Mosh’s buddy and long time neighbor.
In addition to her husband and parents, jean was predeceased by her brother Billy Obert, her devoted cousins Nellie and Sadie Knablin, Gert Goldeman and her lifelong friend Marie McCormack, Barbara Roth and Millie Kish.
