Jean Anna (Langwiser) Gatto, 41, of Bristol, loving mother of Jeremiah and Heather, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Bristol Hospital.
Jean was born in Bristol on April 15, 1967, the daughter of the late John Langwiser, Sr. and Lillian (Duval) Levesque. A lifelong resident of Bristol, she devoted herself to helping others through her careers as a C.N.A., a home health aid, and most recently as a driver for the Bristol Association for Retarded Citizens, where she leaves many friends and co-workers. Her favorite destination was Maine, where she enjoyed many vacations with her family. Jean had a passion for life, enjoying the simplicity of making a home cooked meal or watching classic movies, whose greatest joy was being a mother. She leaves a legacy of caring for her family and many friends, who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her children, Jeremiah and Heather Gatto; and her fiancé, Brian Paradis, all of Bristol; her sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Karl Santacroce of Southington; her brothers, John Langwiser, Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Bristol and James Langwiser and his fiancée, Lisa Lamoreaux of Williamstown, VT., and Roger Levesque, Jr. of Clinton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
