Jean Ann Bunting, 80, of Ottawa, formerly of Oglesby, died Monday evening, May 30, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital & Healthcare Center. Jean was born January 19, 1931 in Peru to William and Gertrude (Parks) Moeller. She was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru Township High School.
She worked at Westclox and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Ottawa Pavilion and Nightingales Care. She was a member of St. Columba Church in Ottawa and a former member of Holy Family Church in Oglesby. She is survived by her six children, Sandra Steele Rossi of Ottawa, Lynn Steele Little of Oglesby, Terri (Jay) Ruger of Ottawa, Trudi (John) Zulkowsky of Oglesby, Todd Steele of Naplate and Scott Steele of California; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents;first husband, William Scotch Steele and her second husband, Sam Bunting; two daughters, in infancy; one grandson, Matthew Steele and one sister, Gertrude Sis Torres.
