Jean Ann (Kit) Harris of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully on July 13, 2015 at the age of 88. Kit was born to Max and Thelma Kitterman on September 17, 1926 in Richmond, Indiana.
When Kit was 7 years old she moved to Tucson, Arizona where she graduated from Tucson High School in 1945. She attended the University of Arizona for 2 years, then graduated from Katherine Gibbs School in New York City, and Washington School for Secretaries in Washington D.C. Kit worked as a secretary for an import-export company in Washington D.C. and then the U.S. Brewers Foundation in New York. While in New York, Kit met and married Morgan (Mike) King Harris, Jr. on June 5, 1954. They moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1959 before settling in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1961.
Kit was a distinguished employee working at Marriott’s Camelback Inn in Paradise Valley before retiring in 2005 after 33 years.
