AKRON – JC Ledford, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s, Thursday morning with family at his bedside.
JC was 92 years old and loved life and family. JC was born in Murphy, North Carolina, where nearly 80 years ago he met Cleo Hedden, his best friend and love of his life. Before moving to Ohio, JC served in the 82nd Airborne Division. JC and Cleo enjoyed
traveling to Florida in the winter, their homeland of North Carolina, and various campgrounds across Ohio.
JC was preceded in death by wife Cleo, mother Lea Hughes, Grandson TJ Mozik and sister Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by daughters Diane(Chris) Kyriakedes and Debbie Ledford, brothers Homer (Betty), Mack, Jerry(Linda) Ledford, sisters Betty(Eddie) Symons, Sally(Johnny) Bandy. Grandchildren Heather(Chad),
Jamie(Jessalyn), Sarah( Chris), Alexis(Austin). Great-grand-children Jackson, Rowyn, William, Celeste, Lyla, Weston, Estelle.
