Westford – Jay M. Hanson, of Westford, MA passed away unexpectedly, July 4, 2014. Loving son and father. The beloved son of Jeannine Hanson of Westford and of the late Edward Hanson. He was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical School in Westford. Jay was a skilled welder, talented artist and an avid reader with a very humorous nature. He loved his family deeply and especially enjoyed spending time with his children. He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Hanson of Lowell, two sons; Edward Hanson and Joshua Hanson, both of Maine, and his mother Jeannine (Gauthier) Hanson of Westford, his maternal grandmother Theresa Gauthier, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
