Beatty Jeanne Wolf who died August 25, 2012, is coming home, home to her birthplace; home to the town of her childhood memories; home to her final resting place, the town she viewed as heaven on earth, Deshler, Nebraska. And her beloved husband, Jawad H. Murib will accompany her to his final resting place at her side.
Beatty Jeanne Wolf was born in the Deshler Hotel on July 12, 1926. She was the daughter of August Ernest Wolf and Alma Katherine (nee Henrichs) Wolf. Beatty Jeanne, her parents, and brother, Herman Wolf (of Boise, Idaho) lived at 201 Pearl Street. In those days, August and his brother, Hetzie Wolf, ran the hardware and implement store downtown at the corner of Pearl and Main Streets.
Beatty Jeanne graduated from Deshler High School and attended nursing school at the University of Nebraska. After nursing school, she met her husband, Jawad H. Murib in Chicago. They wed in Chicago on March 12, 1954 and later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio for Jawad’s career as a senior research chemist for USI Research. Jawad and Beatty Jeanne (who, in adulthood, preferred to be called Jeanne) had three daughters, Karen, Wadida, and Jemela.
