Jason T. McMiller, age 61, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 in Wisconsin Rapids.
Jason was born April 11, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids to Donald and Rosetta (Boettcher) McMiller. The youngest of four children, he was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on April 23, 1961. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1979 and was very involved in class reunions as Master of Ceremonies. Give him a microphone and he loved to talk.
He had numerous jobs throughout his working career and was most recently employed by Silgan Containers Manufacturing Corp. at the time of his passing.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed music, pool, sheepshead, nights out with his friends, or sitting around a campfire with friends and family. He also enjoyed many years of vacationing at Camp Luther with family. He was always looking for the next bargain at area rummage sales and estate sales. His greatest enjoyment was raising well bred lab puppies through his business, Lil Mac’s Kennels.
Jason is survived by his sister, Gail (Boyd) Jordan of Sarasota, Florida and brother, Jeff (Deanna) McMiller of Wisconsin Rapids; sister-in-law, Debra McMiller of Wisconsin Rapids; step-father, Earl Ziegler of Wisconsin Rapids along with stepsisters Diane (Keith) LaBlaine and Dawn Zellner; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved black lab Susie who was adopted by his good friend Randy Arneson. He is further survived by 2 former spouses, stepchildren and step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bruce McMiller.
